The Selby is in your Place opened last week at Colette in Paris including some photos of cheri and i from our much missed former new york home. everyone todd photographed was invited to sell their stuff at the the selby shop, where you can find some posters and shirts (also for sale online) i created and some awesome brooches and necklaces by cheri. the party continued on into the wee hours and included some selby/cobrasnake DJ’ing, and a awesome unitard’d performance by mike & jen. thankfully the Vélib’ station outside the club was broken because riding home may have not been the smartest idea.

i picked up these nice handmade wool boat shoes by band of outsiders (for sperry top-sider) last week for $60, knocked down from $240 via the gilt group an invitation-only online shop that sells some pretty great stuff for up to 70% off, the catch is each sale lasts only online for 36 hours.
the wool is comfy and will certainly shape itself to my foot pretty quickly, but are probably not the most practical for wearing anywhere near an actual boat unless you like the smell of wet dogs. click here if you want an invite to gilt
